Saving Malaya
It is a fast paced and interesting story sure to appeal to
young people. The characters of Malaya, and her sister Alice are fleshed out
well. Making Robert’s character more detailed will add to the story. Both
sisters use their bodies to get ahead in life and this could be attributed to
their life experiences and insecurities. This is something that could be
explored in the next book in the series.
It needs a good editor to remove some of the grammar and
punctuation errors. Overall, it is an interesting book which could truly become
good with a few changes. I loved the gritty story
line and the details of the city’s underbelly. I
am looking
forward to the next book in the series.
